Delena Givens
I have been a dental hygienist for over 18 years, but have worked in the dental field for over 20 years. I was part of the last graduating class of Floyd College, which is now Georgia Highlands.
I have always been fascinated with teeth and have had a drive to help people, which hygiene has allowed me to combine the two. I enjoy treating my patients’ hygiene needs, and educating them about their dental needs. I look at every patient as if they are my extended family giving them the care and treatment they need to improve and maintain a healthy smile. I like learning new things and sharing the information with others.
I enjoy camping, hiking and campfires. I work with local youth in my hometown helping teach scouting skills. I love baking and the best part is taste testing. In my free time I can be found curled up reading a book. I have two boys, one of which is still at home and keeps me busy.
